Summer with Columbus Chorus!

Celebrating song and harmony in our new summer outfits!  Singing at senior centers, garden venues, summer festivals and the statehouse!

Teddy Paul, the “2016 Sweet Adeline of the Year”. She is our chorus jeweler and valued chorus member since 1987. Teddy sings tenor in chorus and the “Women at Play” quartet. She has a great sense of humor!

We are working hard on lots of new music for our fall show. Save the date for our show on Sunday, October 16 at the Lincoln Theater, Columbus, Ohio.

Audience Choice Award and Installation

The Columbus Chorus was awarded the Audience Choice Award for performance in the Open Division of the Region Four competition in Lexington, Ky. April 9, 2016.

Music selections included “Skye Boat Song” (from Outlander), “You Are My Sunshine” and “Almost Like Being in Love” (from Brigadoon). The Scottish themed program was highlighted with tartan costumes. We had such fun preparing this package!

Congratulations to all choruses and quartets that participated in the event!

May 9 we installed officers of the Management Team at our annual celebration of a wonderful year of accomplishments. We continued the Scotland theme with gifts of shortbread cookies and a buffet complete with shepherd’s pie!

A New Year!

We ended our 2015 season with many Christmas singouts and a glorious show on December 13 at Capital University, called “Hollywood Holidays”.

Now learning new material for competition!

We have welcomed several amazing new women to our chorus… We love to ” laugh and love and sing together ” every Monday evening!

Look at our jazzy new costumes! We sounded great in the Ohio Statehouse rotunda! Singing lots of our new holiday songs as well as some old favorites!
